Atlas, Eternal Punishment

Atlas fought alongside the Titans against Zeus. When they fell, he was condemned to carry the heavens for eternity. Civilizations rose and disappeared beneath him. Kingdoms became ruins. Humanity learned to map the stars and discover worlds he had carried long before anyone knew they existed.

What hangs here is Atlas, still serving a sentence without an ending. Above him, the heavens have become a vast celestial machine, holding the mysteries of a universe that mankind has only begun to understand. The world has changed beyond recognition.

Atlas is still holding it together.
