Terms & policies.

Clear terms protect both of us, so you always know what to expect. By booking a custom cover or buying a premade cover, you agree to these terms.

Payments & deposits

Custom projects start with a 50% deposit. The remaining 50% is due before final, high-resolution files are delivered.
Payments are made through PayPal (card payments accepted) or another method agreed in writing.
Prices are in US dollars unless agreed otherwise.

Every custom cover includes 3 rounds of revisions. A round is one list of changes sent together.
Additional revision rounds are $35 each.
Changing to a completely new concept after a concept has been approved is treated as a new design and quoted separately.
Small fixes to typos in the title or author name are always free.

If you cancel before any design work has started, your deposit is refunded in full.
Once design work has started, the deposit is non-refundable, because it covers the time and work already done.
If you are not happy after the included revision rounds, you may end the project at any time. The deposit is kept, no further payment is due, and the final files are not delivered.
Once the final files have been delivered and paid for, the project is complete and payments are non-refundable.

Premade covers are $79 for an ebook cover and $149 for a full print wrap.
Each premade design is sold only once. After purchase it is marked sold and never offered again.
Your title and author name are included. Minor text changes, such as a subtitle or series name, are included; larger changes to the artwork are quoted separately.
Because each design is exclusive, premade cover purchases are final and non-refundable.

You can send photos of anything you want included, such as jewelry, places, pets or keepsakes.
By sending material, you confirm you own it or have permission to use it on your book cover.

After full payment, you receive an exclusive license to use the cover for your book in all editions and formats, and for its marketing and promotion.
7th ART may show the finished cover in its portfolio and on social media. If you prefer it not to be shown, just ask before the project starts.
Draft designs, previews and concepts not chosen remain the property of 7th ART.

Previews may be watermarked or shown at lower resolution. Final files are delivered by email after full payment.
Print covers are sized to the trim size and page count you provide. Please confirm these details before the print wrap is finalized.
Timelines are agreed at the start of each project.

If there is ever a problem, please contact me first so we can resolve it together.
Filing a payment dispute or chargeback for work that was delivered and approved cancels the usage license for that cover.
