The Creation of Adam

One of the most famous artists ever to exist, Michelangelo, on a scaffold in the Sistine Chapel, reaching for the gap between the two fingers, the inch people would argue about for five hundred years.

What hangs here is Adam himself, close enough to see the cracks. The marble has split and the light of this century is coming up from underneath. His hand is still reaching.
